This was a very quick Christmas card, it is the card that I will be mailing out to people as it is very light and will not take any extra postage.
The card is made using Gorgeous Grunge stamp set from stampin up, the ink is 2 different greys from CTMH and the die is from Michaels.
Giving a little bit of me, hoping to touch a part of you. A blog about my love of papercrafting, and products I love Cricut, Stampin Up, CTMH, The Pink Stamper.

Poinsettia Christmas Card
For this Christmas card I used a Stampin Up stamp set I purchased last year. I did not realize that it also had a punch that went with it. I wanted to use the leaf veins, so I played around with my cricut and found a leaf that was close to the vein stamp, sized it and cut them out, they are not perfect but they worked. I used two cuttlebug folders, the base layout for this card came from pinterest.
Winter Scene Christmas Card
This card is a winter scene, it comes together very quickly. I made the snow hills with my CM 12 inch ruler, then I placed on my card and sponged the hills, I think I sponged a little too much color. The stamp is a stamp I picked up from a scrapbook store in Orleans, Ontario. After that I just added some wink of stella to the project, and put some washi tape for a bit of color.

Cardinal Christmas card
This was another quick card I made for Christmas this year. I don't remember the cartridge I used for the tree, or for the cardinal, but the cuttlebug folder I used was from Stampin Up, and the sentiment was from Heathers. Heathers was a store in Ottawa, it closed about one or two years ago. The card was a white on white card I say on pinterest, but I wanted more colour in it so I changed it up, and I added the washi tape.
Stampin Up Ornament Card
This card was very fast and easy to do. The stamp and the punch come from Stampin Up. Although it is simple I like the way it turned out. I used real red ink, and the cuttlebug folder snowflake for this one. Inspiration from Pinterest.
The final photo mat
Here is the final photo mat I made for a co-worker. I am taking them to work today so this one is framed. The frames came from the dollar store. I used my Imagine for this and the cartridge Santa's Village.

Christmas glitter snowflake card
Here is a quick card I made, I did it about a month ago so I don't remember the cut sizes, the Joy came from Winter Woodland, and the snowflake came from Anna's Seasonal Soirees.
I do love the way it turned out. It was inspired by a pin on pinterest.

Santa picture mats
I decided to make some photo mats for Santa pictures for my people in my office. I am going to buy frames for them. I thought these might be a cute way to display their Santa Pictures. I used my explore (with Christmas solutions) and my imagine (Santa's Village) for this. The paperpack is from Walmart.

Quick and Easy Make it now Project
I posted a picture of my grandson's birthday car, I also had to make one for my granddaughter. They are twins.
For my granddaughters card I used a Make it now Project from Cricut Design space. This was a really quick card. I would have had to pay for the font used, but I pressed the customize button and changed the font to one that I owned.

Lego birthday card
Here is a card I made for my grandson's birthday. He loves Lego and although I have done lego cards in the past I thought I would use my melted perler beads instead of paper on this one. I was extremely tired when I made this card and I was not picky about everything being straight. I free cut the blocks after I had stuck them down. I still like the concept I wish it was a little more uniform, but he's a 10 year old boy, I know he will not even notice.

Cardz Tv Halloween Challenge
Today I watched Mary's Challenge on Cardz TV. The challenge was to use a sketch. There was a choice of two sketches. Now I have to say this is not a favorite card of mine, but I don't usually work with sketches and I found that this came together very quickly. I had just finished making a bunch of halloween boxes for my family and friends so I had a bunch of halloween scraps. I used Create a Critter 2 for the bat cut and then I dug out a cuttlebug die I had for the spider, bat, pumpkin, ghost and the Boo!
It was great using scraps, and the sketch.

Snowman Gift Tag
Here's another quick and easy gift tag I made for Christmas. The snowman and the tag are cut from Christmas Kitsch, I did use the slice feature to make the strip at the bottom and cut it out of pattern paper.

Cricut Halloween Treat Boxes
Well its been a long time since I have posted. I have been Scrapbooking a friends wedding pictures and have not wanted to post anything in case she sees the pictures. I am almost done the album and will ge giving it to her shortly so I will post the pictures then.
This morning I started making my Halloween boxes for my family at home, my work family, my neighbours and my grandchildren. I have 23 to make in total so I was planning on using four of my Cricuts all at once to make things go faster. The box I selected was from Ana's Seasonal Soirees.
I love the box but I am very disappointed that the cartridge does not have the score lines on it. To use the score lines you have to use Design Space. My plan was to use my expression with the cartridge, my Imagine with my gypsy and my expression 2 with CCR. In the end I had to cut all the boxes with my explore, it would have been so easy for them to put the score lines on the f1 feature key.

Grave Marker
Well this is a sad post. My brother died in March of this year. His wife hasn't been well and not able to cope with all that needs to be done. We are finally able to bury my brothers ashes this Saturday. It was important to another one of my brothers to have a marker for my brother. I was stunned to hear that the marker we chose will not be installed until next spring. With that being said I had to come up with something. I went to Michael's and found two chalkboards, and a piece of Styrofoam. I traced the chalkboard onto the styrofoam and cut it out with a knife. I then covered all of the edges of the styrofoam with black vinyl. Next I cut an angel and the words on my cricut and adhered them to the chalkboard.
I then took clear vinyl and wrapped the two chalkboards in the clear vinyl. Then I made a sandwich of the chalkboard, the styrofoam and then the chalkboard again. I tried 3 different adhesives, first Arleen's tacky glue, then a hot glue gun, neither of these worked, so I tried E6000, and that worked very well. Finally I have cut a cheap garden fence into a H shape to secure the marker into the ground. Sorry the picture is so dark I took it at night.

sugar sheets
Well my husband's birthday was on the 26th of July, we finally got around to having his birthday dinner.
I had bought a white cake (his favorite) I did not have them put any words on the cake. I purchased a sugar sheet and cut it with my cricut cake machine.

Paper Trimmings Snowman Card
I was not doing anything tonight and decided to make another Christmas Card. I wanted to use a cartridge that I haven't used in awhile, so I decided to go with Paper Trimmings. There is a cute snowman that only has two layers to cut. I cut the snowman at 3.75 inches from Paper Trimmings. I also used the markers on him to make the edges standout a bit more. I cut the scalloped oval from the Lacey Labels cartridge and the sentiment from Create a Critter2. I used scrap paper except for the scallop, which came from Norland Paper pack by Farm House Paper Company. The card was kinda blah, so I added some stickles, 3 snowflakes and a metal Christmas present, as well as a strip of washi tape.

Get Well Soon card
Yesterday I heard that one of my clients suffered a heart attack recently. I decided to make him a card. I found a card on pinterest and decided to do something similar. The layout is the same as the pinterest card, but I did change the heart beat on the card. I also cut it rather than using twine.
I downloaded a clip art and traced the image in SCAL2, then saved it as a SVG and cut it with my cricut explore.
The sentiment came from My Pink Stamper Get Well Wishes stamp set.

Christmas in July Challenge -- Card 2
Here is another card I through together this morning for the Christmas in July challenge.
I don't like the papers, and the card does not stand well due to the acetate, but here it is.
I used Martha Stewart border for the snow and glitter (tinsel) from Martha Stewart as well, the snowman is cut from Creative Memories Cheerful Seasons.
Paper is from Stampin up for the base, and scraps.

Donut Happy Birthday card
Today is a co-worker's birthday. He was away this past week so we will be celebrating it on Monday.
This co-worker loves his honey cruller donuts. While I couldn't find a cut for a honey cruller, I did have a few donut cuts. The inspiration for this card came from Pinterest, where the card was done with stamps, and die cuts from Stampin Up.
I used TBBM2 -- box
Love you a latte
Sweet Shop
Fast Food
Art philosophy -- banner
I used my Imagine machine for this project as I find this machine so easy. Just pick the image, the size and the color you want it. Then just load one sheet of paper. The pattern paper comes from a dollar store pack of paper called Birthday Blast by Forever in Time. The sentiment comes from Forever in Time as well, but I can't find a name on the stamp set. I used nail polish as the sprinkles on the card. I'm not happy with the results of them but they will do.

Thank You Rhonda Lamourie
I am hosting a scrapbooking class in Renfrew at Quail Creek Retirement Home every second Sunday. There is no charge for the class and the residents use all my supplies. I recently posted on Renfrew Scrapbooking asking for donations. I only had two responses but that's ok, the amount of product I received is wonderful. I might add that the product is going to stay at Quail Creek for the residents to use whenever they feel like scrapping. My first Thank you goes to Rhonda Lamourie who went through her stash and donated so much, thanks for paying it forward Rhonda.
Please see tomorrow's post to see how generous Tracy Sundue was, thank you both so much.
