I used Create a Critter 2 for the Koala card and Create a Critter 1 for the dinosaur card.
I weilded both cards in CCR and then cut the pieces. For the dinosaur I then cut out a heart and stamped the be mine on it. The heart is already in the cut for the koala so I just found a stamp that worked.
Giving a little bit of me, hoping to touch a part of you. A blog about my love of papercrafting, and products I love Cricut, Stampin Up, CTMH, The Pink Stamper.

Create a critter2 valentine
One of my favorite cartridges of all time is the Create a Critter (original and 2). I just had to use the bear from the cartridge to create a card. I usually case cards on pinterest or other sources, but I am trying to build my confidence and come up with more of my own designs. For this card I used scraps of paper (don't you just love when you use your scraps instead of adding to them).
I used a stamp from SU.

Holiday cakes valentines card
Here is a card I made for valentines. I used the elephant (cut at 3.5 inches), and the scallop with hearts (cut at 1inch). I used a red mat and layered paper printed in my Imagine from the Bubble gum stripes cartridge. I added glitter to one heart and the elephant ear. I stamped the tag from Happy Heart Day (SU), and coloured the hearts with a red marker, then used bakers twine on it. The elephant and hearts are popped up. The ink is Darkest Night from My Pink Stamper.

Thank You, simple card
Here is a quick and easy card I made, I used two stamp sets, and three ink colours.
For the sentiment I used sassy salutations and I stamped it with My Pink Stampers Darkest Night hybrid ink.
The flower stamps come from CTMH called I am, I stamped the flowers using Poppy Red from Stampin Up. I stamped the largest flower with full strenghth ink, the mid size flower I stamped off and then stamped the flower, the smallest flower I stamped off twice and then stamped the flower,
the centre of the flowers were stamped with Stampin Up So Saffron.
I also used white cardstock and Poppy Red cardstock, then added some ribbon from Costco.

Ninja Birthday
Here is a card I made for the son on one of my friends,
to make this card I used garden green cardstock from SU, all the rest of the papers were scraps that I had (mostly from Michael's).
I used the cricut craft room to create the turtle heads. I welded oval 2 (width 1.819 x height 1.153)from CTMH Art Phil. and a circle (1.236 w x 1.222 h)from Cricut Craft Room Basics.
for the masks I took an i from Cricut craft room basics and hid the dot, then rotated so the I would be 1.514 w x .264 h, I then glued on and fussy cute the edges. I then cut a v from Cricut craft room basics at .542 x .431 to create the ties. Finally I used Create a Critter for the talk bubble and cut it at 1.75 inches. I added google eyes, and popped up the turtles.
I used Sizzix Tim Holtz brick cuttlebug folder for the background. I also inked the edges of the turtle, background, and the talk bubble. I didn't have a Happy Birthday stamp to fit, so I just used a marker.
Inspiration for the card came from Pinterest.

Golf birthday
I have a lot of birthday's comin up so there will be a ton of cards coming. I took to Pinterest for inspiration. I found a card by crafting Katie. Katie had all the sizes on her blog so I followed her instructions for cutting. Like Katie I used my gypsy and cut a base and he back then glued them together at the top. (I used the hide contour for this). The golf cart and bag are from Everyday Paper Dolls and are cut at 4.5 for the golf cart, and 3.5 for the golf bag and clubs. the clubs were then cut out again 3 times, in grey and two different blues. Paper for this is from Michaels. The golf cart was cut 4 times, red, black, white and grey. I had to do a wee bit of fussing cutting for this. The banner is from Formal Occassions and is .75 height and 3 inch for the length. The bacground paper is from a Christmas stack from Michaels its called Homemade Holiday from Craft Smith. the sentiment is from CTMH.

Making crafting easier
I mentioned in an earlier post that I was working on a project and would post it when I completed it.
Well I'm not done but have decided to post anyway as I won't be finished until I have my loose stamp sets and Christmas sentiments finished. So far this is what I have done.
I took all of my Stampin Up sentiments and all of my Close to My Heart Sentiments and stamped them on 4 x 6 pieces of cardstock. For Stampin Up I put all of my "Birthday" etc together, and I marked which stampset the stamp was with. For CTMH as I don't have as many I grouped them by the storage bin I have them in and the name of the stampset.
Next I used my Yourstory to make these books, (I still have to label the fronts).
I plan on keeping the series of books in the stand you see below. I found the measurements for this online and decided to try and may one. I like the way it turned out but I'm not finished embellishing it yet.

Sorry about the glass of wine and the pj's, I'm relaxing for the night.

Happy new year
Happy New Year,
I'm happy to say I kept my New Years Resolution last year and actually had more than the 52 posts that I was aiming for. Although I didn't have 4 posts a month, I did make up for some missing posts in other months. This year I would like to have 80 posts.
With Christmas over there is not as much crafting going on. I have been doing a project with my sentiment stamps, I will post it when it is finished.
I've also been getting caught up with a little sewing. The lower loop thread on my serger broke which means I have to rethread the lower loop, (pulling my hair out), I was just about to throw the machine out the window when I noticed how beautiful the trees look. So I decided to breath, and I have walked away from the machine for just a bit.
We had a heavy snow yesterday, followed by rain.....the trees look beautiful.
