HAPPY EASTER

My this year is going fast.  My New Years resolution was to make one post a week on my blog.
I've done pretty well until this past week, but things have been pretty crazy at work and I've been exhausted and not able to create.

Hear are the Easter treats I made for my family.  4 are missing as the kids saw them and took theirs already.

Enjoy and Happy Easter.

Thank you cards

Every new client of mine gets a Thank you card.  I wanted something really quick. I made 30+ of these.  They are supper fast.  I used scraps, and that's probably the best thing.  I just kept pulling out patterned paper at least 4X4 in size and made the cards.
All stamps are from Stampin Up, as is the scalloped circle punch.  The circle punch was from Creative Memories, on some cards I used the larger circle and for some the smaller one.

Cycle of life,

Well this week I had two cards to make, I found out one of my clients had a baby boy, and I found out another had lost her daughter-in-law.
I made these two cards.  The sympathy card was done with Stampin Up stamps and the Baby card was done with my Imagine machine. (I used Create a Critter and the Nursery Tails cartridge), I love how fast the Imagine is, and best of all it is all done with one sheet of white cardstock.
How sad it is to make sympathy cards.  This young girl died while waiting for a new lung, she was on the top of the donor list.  Her death has meant that 4 people received her organs and will now lead better lives.  Please remember to fill out a donor card.

Imagine Mothers Day

It's been two weeks since I used my Imagine, I thought I'd better print something so that the ink doesn't dry up.  I used one of the stock images on the Imagine and flood filled it with one of the patterned papers on the Imagine More Cards Cartridge, I cut the image at 3.3 inches.  Next I flood filled the same image with a coordination color from the same cartridge, and cut it at 3.6 inches.
I chose my base color Lively Lilac (retired Stampin Up), with a mat of Concord Crush (Stampin Up).
I used the Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder, and some dollar store ribbon.
The sentiment was from a retired Stampin Up set and is stamped with Concord Crush Ink.
I have to admit when I was making this card I was less than impressed with it.  I turned to pintrest and found some inspiration (A similar card).
